Scroll down to Local Files and switch Show Local Files on. Any files in your computer's My Music and Downloads folders are automatically selected. Switch off any sources you don't want Spotify to access. Click ADD A SOURCE to select another folder. You’ll now find music from that folder in Local Files in the menu on the left. Supported file types.mp3. Any problems are normally down to communication issues so here's a list of things to check if local files won't download. Your PC and mobile must be connected to the same Network/SSID and spotify should be running on your PC. In your router settings, check that UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled. I add files to Spotify (I have the folder selected as a source in preferences) and when I go to play it, I get the; 'This track was added as a local file. If you have the file on your computer, you can import it.' Local file source is checked. I us mostly mp4 files which have always played fine. Local files spotify download error.

Spotify will send your Star redemption email 3 days after you sign up for a free trial of Spotify Premium. I’m sorry to say I still use an old ipod shuffle so I’ve never tried Spotify. From the interwebs it looks like their free trials are usually 30 days. The main thing isyou have got to remember to cancel before you start getting charged!
Cancelling Spotify
